For Series 5 of Peaky Blinders, we celebrated fandom in all its forms from fanart to music. So, when we found out the legendary Snoop Dogg was a massive fan of the show, we knew we had to get him involved.
Snoop repped his fandom by covering “Red Right Hand,” Nick Cave’s infamous theme song of Peaky Blinders. With the ominous southern gothic rock anthem getting an unexpected hip-hop-g-funk remake, it was the cover no one saw coming.
The music video was picked up around the world by Rolling Stone, Vulture, IndieWire, Billboard, NME, Pitchfork and more. And Snoop? He became an honorary member of the Shelby family.
